Does the driver also serve as a tour guide?
No, the driver is not a tour guide in the strict sense of the term. Their primary role is to ensure your safe transportation and manage the logistical aspects of your itinerary.
However, upon request, we can provide certified English-speaking guides for the major cultural stops on your tour (historical sites, monuments, etc.).
We believe this is the most suitable option to enjoy both the comfort of a private driver and the cultural expertise of a genuine local guide.
Furthermore, for small group tours (starting from 4 travelers), a English-speaking guide can accompany the group throughout the entire trip. This allows for a richer cultural immersion and a better understanding of India's heritage.
How much should you tip a driver in India?
In India, tipping is an integral part of the service culture and is expected in many situations. To help you better understand local customs, here are some practical guidelines:

For private drivers: It is customary to give a tip at the end of the trip, calculated per day. The recommended average is approximately per day, regardless of the number of participants.
Example: for a 10-day tour, the driver would receive approximately in total. -
