Arrival in Bangalore, journey to Mysore

Warm welcome at Bangalore airport and transfer to your nearby hotel. After breakfast, departure for Mysore. On the way, visit Srirangapatna, a major historical site with its imposing fort and 18th-century monuments, remnants of Tipu Sultan's reign. Explore the temples and mausoleums that bear witness to the fascinating history of this iconic place. Check-in at Mysore. Overnight stay.

Mysore, City of Maharajas

In the morning, a guided tour of the sumptuous Mysore Palace, an architectural gem and the second most visited tourist attraction in India after the Taj Mahal. In the afternoon, a stroll through the bustling alleys of Devaraja Market, famous for its local handicrafts, silks, textiles, and sandalwood products.

Somanathapura

After breakfast, departure for Somanathapura, renowned for its Keshava Temple, a masterpiece of 13th-century Hoysala architecture. The intricate carvings depicting deities and mythological scenes reflect the artistic pinnacle of this dynasty. In the evening, enjoy the illumination of Mysore Palace.

Isha Yoga Center near Coimbatore

Today, cross the Western Ghats towards Tamil Nadu. The journey will be long. The next day, discover the Isha Yoga Center, a place dedicated to the practice of yoga and meditation. This spiritual center offers a peaceful environment conducive to relaxation and introspection. Two nights on site.

The Blue Mountains

This morning, depart for the Nilgiris, the famous "Blue Mountains." Drive through stunning mountain landscapes via Coonoor and Ooty. After lunch, visit the Government Rose Garden in Ooty, a historic garden home to over 20,000 varieties of roses from around the world. Arrival in Gudalur in the evening.

The Tea Plantations of Gudalur

In the morning, explore the Naduvattam plantations by jeep. Visit a school in the heart of the plantations and enjoy an enriching encounter with students and teachers. The afternoon includes a shared meal and a performance prepared by the students, offering an authentic glimpse into local life.

The Paradise of Valiyaparamba

This morning, depart for a little paradise in the Payyanur region, in northern Kerala. Early afternoon arrival at Valiyaparamba, where the Arabian Sea offers a breathtaking panorama. Free time to enjoy the beach and idyllic surroundings.

Kerala's Other Backwaters

A free day to enjoy the exceptional setting of Valiyaparamba. Options include cycling along the coast or taking a boat trip through the backwaters, the emblematic canals of Kerala that provide a unique glimpse into local life.

Stopover in Udupi

In the morning, drive to Udupi. After lunch, visit the famous Sri Krishna Matha, a 13th-century monastery founded by philosopher Madhvacharya. The day ends with a contemplative walk along Malpe Beach to admire the sunset.

Discovering Gokarna

Head to Gokarna, a charming coastal village where Hindu pilgrims and travelers seeking serenity coexist harmoniously. This peaceful location, bordered by five stunning beaches, provides an ideal setting to experience the authenticity of local culture.

Gokarna and Its Beaches

A free day to wander through the village streets. Its temple, dedicated to Shiva and reserved for Hindus, is one of the most important and sacred in Karnataka. Besides the Main Beach, Gokarna is home to other magnificent beaches. You can take coastal trails connecting Om Beach, Kudle Beach, Half Moon Beach, and Paradise Beach, offering breathtaking views.

Seaside Stay in Benaulim

Head to the state of Goa! For three days, stay in Benaulim, a charming coastal village. Enjoy its fine sandy beach and soak in the laid-back atmosphere that defines the region. Excursions into the hinterland will reveal the historic district of Panjim, Old Goa, and the magnificent mansions of Figueiredo House in Loutolim and Menezes Braganza House in Chandor.

Stopover in Hubli

Today, depart at your convenience for Hubli, an intermediate stop before Hampi. Enjoy a morning at the beach, then depart after lunch. Upon arrival, if time allows, visit the nearly 900-year-old Chandramauleshwara Temple, built under the Chalukya dynasty, known for its refined architecture and detailed carvings. Otherwise, visit the next day before leaving for Hampi. Overnight in Hubli.

The Caves of Badami

Drive to Badami, the former capital of the Chalukyas. Arrival by late morning. In the afternoon, explore the famous rock-cut caves dating back to the 6th century, carved into red sandstone cliffs. Visit the archaeological museum to learn about local history, then climb to Badami Fort for a breathtaking view of the valley and surrounding temples. Overnight stay.

Aihole and Pattadakal

A day dedicated to discovering Aihole and Pattadakal, architectural gems listed as UNESCO heritage sites. Aihole, the cradle of Hindu architecture, features remarkable 6th-century temples, including the Durga Temple. Pattadakal, with its 7th-century temples, illustrates the fusion of North and South Indian styles, notably the famous Virupaksha Temple, showcasing the evolution of sacred art in South India. Overnight in Badami.

Arrival in Hampi

This morning, depart for Hampi, the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, a powerful South Indian kingdom that flourished between the 14th and 16th centuries. In the afternoon, explore this fascinating site, where archaeological remains and rocky landscapes blend into a stunning setting. In the evening, climb Matanga Hill to admire the ruins bathed in the sunset’s golden light.

The Treasures of Hampi

A full day of guided exploration through Hampi’s treasures: the still-active Virupaksha Temple, the Hemakutam Temple, and the shrine dedicated to Ganesh, each revealing a part of the site's sacred history. Visit the King’s Palace and the vast elephant stables, illustrating the ingenuity and opulence of the Vijayanagara Empire. Overnight stay.

Journey to Bangalore

Free morning to enjoy Hampi. After lunch, drive to the transit city of Davangere, with stops along the way to relax and admire the landscapes of Karnataka. Overnight in Davangere.

Bangalore

This morning, drive to Bangalore, arriving in the early afternoon. The rest of the day is dedicated to exploring the city: visit Bangalore Palace, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, and then stroll through Lalbagh Botanical Garden.

Last Day in Bangalore

Last day in India. If you’re up for it, depart at 5 AM for KR Market, one of the largest flower markets in Asia. After this sensory experience, return to the hotel for breakfast. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport, taking home unforgettable memories of your South India journey.
